A huge explosion left people running for their lives after a fireworks factory burst into flames.
The blaze at the pyrotechnic workshop caused damage to three other properties.
Shocking footage was captured by a person who was close to the building in their car at the time of the explosion.

In the video, a thick cloud of silver smoke filled the air as bright orange flames burst into the sky.
The person who filmed the clip let out a scream as a woman in the street desperately ran from the scene.
Pieces of debris from the building could be seen flying through the air as the woman, quickly joined by a second person, continued to flee.
As the fire raged on, more loud banging sounds were heard.
The smoke grew thicker and darker until it had completely engulfed the sky.
People in the area alerted the emergency services and firefighters arrived at the factory.
They were able to control the situation and, luckily, there were no victims, as reported by Need To Know.
Three neighbouring properties sustained damage as a result of the fire, which was caused by a powder keg which had exploded.

After the fire was controlled, the building, located in Tultepec, Mexico, was placed under the protection of police.
The incident occurred yesterday (16 April).
According to local press, the area is considered to be the ‘capital of pyrotechnics’ as it is where the largest number of fireworks used throughout the country are produced.
Many of the factories operate clandestinely and do not have government permits or implement security measures.

Due to this, explosions occur frequently.
Some of these accidents have been fatal.
On 20 December 2016 at the San Pablito Market, in Tultepec, at least 31 people died and more than 70 were injured in an explosion.
