A thief has been chased down by a speedy Good Samaritan after taking off with £1,000 worth of clothes.
The man attempted to steal a set of expensive white shirts at a shopping hotspot.
But Abdur Mijeed spotted the thief trying to escape with the stolen items.

The 28-year-old, accompanied by other shoppers, chased the man down and confronted him.
The £1,000 worth of clothing had been taken from the popular men’s clothing shop Hackett.
The incident took place on Oxford Street, London, last Sunday (13 April), as reported by Need To Know.
Abdur helped workers retrieve the stolen items despite not working at the shop.
The 28-year-old said: “£1,000 shirts he robbed.

“You got caught stealing £1,000 worth of shirts, mate.
“Come on, you’re better than that uncle.”
While on the ground, the out-of-breath thief replied: “I took some shirts.
“I didn’t know what it was, I didn’t know what they were, I just took them.
“I took them.”
Jam Press approached the Metropolitan Police for a comment, but they were unable to identify the incident.
