“This was the biggest scare I’ve ever had in my life,” he said.
“And look, I’ve already crashed my car on the highway twice.
“I know it’s wrong to walk on the sidewalk, but I wanted to avoid the very busy avenue.

“And then when I went to turn the handlebars, I accelerated.
“The bike was moving and I couldn’t brake.
“I lost control, ran over a banner and fell into the roadside.
“Suddenly, I was already hitting the side of the bus.
“I just remember trying to get my head out so I wouldn’t fall under the wheel.
“It was two seconds, but it seemed like a minute.”
Luckily, Marcelo, who is the presenter of Globo Esporte Minas Gerais, was not injured as a result of the incident.
He was leaving a store in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, on 11 April when it happened, as reported by Need To Know.
Marcelo said: “I was fine, I didn’t hurt anything.
“I was very scared but got up on the spot.
“People helped me.
