An actor suffered a horror leg break after he fell from a stage during an Easter performance.
The unnamed man was playing Barabbas, and reenacted the movie The Passion of the Christ.
He played his part before he perched himself on the side of the stage.

He executed one of his lines before jumping off of the side.
It appeared that he miscalculated the height and had bent his legs improperly causing him to land in a serious way.
A snapping sound could be heard, as the man lay on the ground with the fracture visible.
He was silent before he reached his arms out to alert people in the crowd that he needed help.
The actor attempted to get himself up as he did not at first, realise the severity of the injury.
Hundreds of people were watching the performance at the time, as reported by Need To Know.
Staff who were part of the play quickly rushed over to him as he curled up on the floor.
The performance was stopped as he received urgent medical attention.
He was carried away from the scene on a stretcher.
According to local press, some people in the audience were surprised to see the emergency services arrive as they thought the fall was part of the performance.
The accident could have been avoided, as some metal stairs leading from the stage to the ground can be seen beside the man in the video as he sits down.
He wanted to continue his part as Barabbas in the performance however he was in too much pain.
It was in Tomatlán, west of Mexico City, Mexico, on Good Friday (18 Apr) when the fall took place before he was taken to hospital.
