A brazen thief jumped into a car and drove it away as the vehicle’s stunned owner stood in her driveway.
The chancer made his quick move after the driver lined up her hatchback.
She climbed out of the car and walked towards her gate to unlock it, leaving her car keys in the ignition.

As she was opening the gate, the passing pedestrian suddenly changed course and jogged towards the car, as reported by Need To Know.
He opened the door, climbed into the driver’s seat and began reversing in the narrow street, just feet away from the car’s owner.
As he shifted into first gear, the woman realised what was going on and ran back towards her vehicle.
She grabbed onto it as the crooked mounted the pavement, but was thrown off brusquely as he accelerated away.
The crime was committed in broad daylight on Saturday (19 Apr) in a residential part of Manaus, Brazil.
Local media say the victim was not hurt.
Despite being caught on CCTV, neither the suspect nor the stolen Fiat Uno has been found.
The police are calling for anyone with any information about the crime to get in touch.
