A bungling cable thief had to be rescued after he got stuck more than 130ft up a phone mast.
Cops and firefighters were called yesterday (23 Apr) morning after they were alerted to the crook.
After cutting some cables in a bid to flog the copper, he found himself unable to descend the 40m tall mast.

A fire brigade spokesperson: “At first, the man was uncooperative and refused to let the team approach for the rescue.
“However, after talking with the officers, he gave in and allowed the rescuers to climb up.”
The firemen fitted the suspect with a harness and used a rope to winch him down to safety.
He was found to be unhurt, as reported by Need To Know.
As soon as he reached the ground, he was handcuffed and taken to a police station in Manaus, Brazil.
Footage shows how he would have climbed up the rungs running up the length of the pole to reach the lofty mast top.
It is not clear if he was physically unable to climb back down or if he simply got cold feet from the dizzying height.
The footage shows how he had wrapped his T-shirt around his face out of embarrassment as a crowd watched him being rescued.
The authorities are withholding his identity, plus the charges he is facing.
