A reggae star’s son has been shot dead in broad daylight as he was live-streaming.

The gunman, whose face was concealed with a hood, opened fire and killed Johnson with a single shot from point-blank range.
He continued firing the victim with bullets as he lay unresponsive on the ground.
A shocked look appeared on the face of the man whom Johnson had been talking to on the TikTok livestream.
After killing his victim, the suspect simply walked away, as reported by Need To Know.

The execution-style killing happened on Monday (28 Apr) in St Andrew, near Kingston, Jamaica.
Johnson is the son of reggae star Jah Mason, who told local media he was processing the news with his family.

The St Andrew North Police force is investigating the case and said the killing may have been gang-related.
It is reportedly the fourth execution-style killing of a Jamaican TikToker in recent months.

Marlon Samuels was shot dead in Montego Bay on 20 December 2024, Xavier “Niah Gang” Fogah, 23, met the same fate in St Catherine on 7 December 2024, and Keauno “Popsy” Watson, 23, was killed in September that year.
No arrests have been made, but fans believe the killers belong to rival gangs who earn money on social media.
