An influencer claims a fellow passenger’s wife asked for him to get a different seat due to her outfit being “too revealing”.
Katie Flowers says she was “judged” during a recent international flight for “simply existing with curves”.
The content creator, who has 313,000 followers, was wearing a white playsuit with a plunging neckline and knee-high boots as she settled into her first-class seat.

But the outfit soon angered another female passenger.
“I was harassed in first class for being too attractive,” Katie told Need To Know.

“Another passenger’s wife requested a seat change for her husband, because she felt my outfit was ‘too revealing’ and drew unwanted attention.
“[In my opinion], I was wearing a normal outfit for an overnight flight.
“But apparently, the issue wasn’t the clothes, it was the body inside them.

“I was judged for simply existing with curves.”
Katie, who was flying from Las Vegas to Dubai, wasn’t approached by the woman directly.
She claims a flight attendant informed of her the complaint directly and made it clear the discomfort was related to the influencer’s appearance.

While Katie wasn’t removed from her seat, the incident left her feeling visibly uncomfortable as other passengers. reportedly stared and whispered.
She said: “It felt like my body was offensive just for existing.
“I did nothing but board the plane and sit down.

“Women are expected to be beautiful – but not too much.
“To be polished but never too confident.
“It’s a form of control disguised as decency.”
Katie, who is also a relationship coach, believes that this type of situation is far more common than people realise, especially for women who travel alone.

She added: “If you have curves, if you stand out, and if you’re not accompanied by a man, you become a target.
“And the judgment often comes from other women.
“It’s not about modesty.
“It’s about insecurity.

“First class protects me from physical discomfort.
“But it doesn’t shield me from social hostility.
“And that says a lot about the world we live in.”
