A primary school teacher whose entire body is covered in tattoos has revealed he is adding a second layer of ink – making him the world’s most tattooed teacher.
Sylvain, known online as FreakyHoody, has been teaching kids for 16 years and is fully dedicated to his job – despite his extensive ink.
As well as his skin, the 40-year-old has had his eyeballs, tongue, gums, and underneath his nails tattooed.
Sylvain even had his bellybutton, nipples, and 20 beauty spots removed so that it was “easier” to get inked.
“I only have one tattoo – it’s a full bodysuit, my pyjamas,” Sylvain, who has 129,000 followers on Instagram, told Need To Know.

“I’m currently working on my second layer, meaning that we add more tattoos over the previous ones – it’s called a blast over.
“I’ve made a few body modifications, but I consider them tattoos as well.
“I had my eyeballs done, my tongue, my gums – we managed to tattoo under each of my nails.
“I had my belly button, nipples, and approximately 20 beauty spots removed so it’s now easier to tattoo me as the surface – the canvas is smoother.”

Sylvain is currently attending two appointments a month so that he can have more tattoos added to his existing one.
The first appointment consists of a regular day session and the second, which takes around 15 minutes, is for touch ups.
And despite his striking appearance, Sylvain’s students don’t really care about his tattoos.

He finds that once or twice a year parents “might be annoyed” about the way he looks but it is always short lived.
He said: “The children don’t really care about the way I look.
“They’re more interested in the fact that I am a famous person.
“They can brag to their friends that their teacher is a star.

“Once or twice a year, parents might be annoyed regarding the way I look.
“But because it’s not about my work, it doesn’t go past a few hours or days.”
Sylvain, who lives and works in Palaiseau, a commune in the southern suburbs of Paris, France, was initially inspired by other people’s tattoos.
He once saw a man working at Barclay’s bank who had his entire neck covered in tattoos, and then a cashier at McDonald’s who had both of his arms covered.

The week after seeing them, he booked in to have sleeves done on both of his arms.
The rest was history.
He started his journey while living in London from 2012 to 2014.
Sylvain then returned to France and finished his bodysuit in just under three and a half years.
He lived at his mum’s house to afford it.

He added: “As a man, I don’t experience many negative reactions.
“People are usually curious or impressed, but rarely mean.
“My plan is to keep going forever – until death.
“It’s not that I’m addicted, it’s just that when you have finished a project, you’re a bit sad.
“I will never finish it, I will always have that in my life.

“It’s reassuring and it drives me forward, among other things like fitness, reading, movies, and so on, obviously.
“You only live once and if you have a passion you should fulfill it as much as you can.
“It is better to feel remorse than to regret.”
