A woman’s body has been found stuffed inside a fridge at a restaurant after she shared a video of herself on a date.
Nyny Jhoanna Montaña Rodríguez was already in an advanced state of decomposition when she was discovered.
The 31-year-old’s ex-husband had reported her missing on 23 May after he struggled to make contact with her.

Police found Nyny’s body on 28 May.
The National Civil Police (PNC) confirmed that she was located inside a refrigerator at an establishment called Terraza.

Local press have reported that Terraza was owned by a man who Nyny was in a romantic relationship with.
She had recently shared a video of herself eating at a restaurant with a man thought to be her boyfriend.
According to local press, the businesswoman was wearing the same clothes in the video that she was found wearing in the refrigerator.

The video, which was posted on her social media, has since disappeared, as reported by Need To Know.
An exact cause of death is yet to be determined.
The National Institute of Forensic Sciences is in charge of carrying out tests.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.
Terraza is in shopping centre Comercial El Dorado, in Panajachel, a town in the Guatemalan Highlands.
