A pair of bungling men caused a huge fire, which became way out of control while having a BBQ.
Two unnamed men, aged 57 and 58, underestimated the winds while cooking in the garden in a mistake which ended in a wild blaze.

Shocking photos of the scene showed the severe damage that the hedge suffered.
The greenery had been completely stripped, as the fire left nothing but barren twigs behind.

Three people were injured, including a 58-year-old man, a 53-year-old woman and an 11-year-old boy.
All suffered smoke inhalation and were transported to the hospital in an ambulance, as reported by Need To Know.
According to police, the strong gusts of wind caused the flames from the BBQ to travel to the nearby hedge.

Two properties were affected, and luckily, the local fire department were able to reach the scene to prevent the situation from escalating further.
The fire took place on 23 June at around 3pm in Kirchheim unter Teck, a town in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, in the district of Esslingen.

Both men who caused the fire to begin are now reportedly being investigated by authorities on suspicion of negligent arson.
