A mum who “wouldn’t be caught dead” at an all-inclusive because she can’t stand “British Karens and their screaming brats” is spending £10,000 on a trip for herself and her husband – and leaving the kids at home.
With summer in full swing, Carla Bellucci and her husband, Giovanni, will soon be packing their bags for a luxurious cruise.
But the 43-year-old’s children – including three-year-old toddler, Blu, and teens, Jayden, 18, and Tanisha, 20, as well as her eldest son* – are not invited.
Carla knows her decision will bring intense backlash.
Last time she went on holiday with Giovanni alone to Dubai and the Maldives, the pair were sent death threats by women who said her behaviour was “shameful”.
But Carla couldn’t care less and believes these mums are just “jealous” that she “gets a break and they don’t”.
She heads off with Giovanni on 16 July.
“It’s horrific how I am treated,” Carla, from Hertfordshire, told Need To Know.
“When Gio and I went on holiday last time, I left Blu at home with her sister Tanisha and was sent death threats by women saying it was shameful.
“I find it disgusting that people think they can judge me and it shocks me that they are so obsessed with my life choices.
“Meanwhile, they go to rotty resorts that are filled with the worst of Britain.
“Don’t get me wrong, I like an all-inclusive five-star in the Maldives but I would never be caught dead at an all-inclusive in Spain or Portugal.
“They are full of British Karens and their husbands who get drunk by 10am and scream at their kids.
“I’ve seen sunburnt people fighting for a sun bed or watered-down cocktail like it’s some sort of incredible luxury.
“They can sit there and eat their oily buffet food in the sun – it’s nasty.
“I like a bit of class.”
Carla and her hubby are going to be cruising through the Bahamas with plenty of extravagant plans on the agenda.
She isn’t remotely worried about her kids – with Tanisha once again asked to babysit her younger siblings.
The mum has gone on five holidays so far in 2025 – to the tune of £17,000 – with six more planned before the end of the year.
Carla said: “I’m going to swim with the pigs, have amazing dinners and lie on the beach.
“Gio and I are going to indulge in pure luxury and I want to pamper myself.
“We recently upgraded our hotel room as well, to get a beautiful sea view suite.
“Mums shouldn’t be expected to lose out on luxury because we are parents.
“We give our life to our kids but I have learnt to enjoy myself while I still can.
“Blu travels the world with us most of the time – so I deserve a luxury holiday with no children present.”
Carla has no doubt that the trolling will follow when she heads off later this month.
But she has some choice words for people who don’t like her having a good time.
She added: “These trolls are the worst people – so jealous and bitter.
“I am not hurting anyone.
“My kids are happy and I’m living my best life.
“If people have a problem with my solo holiday – let me live rent-free in their heads.
“I’ll be too busy enjoying myself to care.”
