A teenager was hospitalised after suffering a horrific e-scooter accident.
CCTV footage shows how the 14-year-old boy fell sideways while riding down a road at high speed.
He could be seen tumbling as he and his electric scooter skidded for yards along the tarmac.

He finally came to a stop and tried to pick himself up — but then fell straight down again, clutching his leg in pain.
Luckily, he was wearing a helmet at the time.
The incident took place on Saturday (12 Jul) in the Polish town of Blachownia, about a 45-mile drive north of Katowice.
Police in the Silesia region say the teenager “lost control of his scooter after failing to adjust his speed to the road conditions and fell”.
He was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries, as reported by Need To Know.
Under local law, e-scooters must be used on cycle paths or on the road only if the speed limit is 30 km/h (19 mph) or less.
Breaking the speed limit can result in a fine starting at 1,000 PLN (£204).
The Silesian Police revealed: “In recent weeks, several similar accidents involving electric scooter users have been reported in the region.”
They warned: “Electric scooters are becoming increasingly popular among road users.
“While they offer independence and mobility, riding them requires common sense, knowledge of the rules, and — above all — caution.”
