A chiselled crook has been dubbed ‘Ken doll’ after being arrested for a suspected social media scam.
The 21-year-old is accused of duping Facebook Marketplace users.
Along with several accomplices, the unnamed suspect allegedly conned customers by offering high-value items such as mobile phones.

The gang allegedly used deceptive adverts offering luxury items at prices significantly below their market value, generating high interest among online shoppers.
They reportedly presented themselves as legitimate and professional sellers, as reported by Need To Know.
Once they captured the buyer’s attention, the group established fluid communication with them to create a false sense of trust.

They then persuaded the victims to make a deposit, often around half of the total amount, and stopped responding to communications without ever delivering the ordered product, according to reports.
Multiple victims filed complaints with the police and an investigation was launched.
‘Ken’ was arrested by officers of the Police Investigation Directorate (DPI) in the Honduran capital Tegucigalpa, yesterday (17 Jul).
The police are continuing to locate the suspect’s accomplices to bring them to justice for the alleged Facebook scam.
