A balaclava-clad man who was jailed for beating a father with a wrench is now being hunted by police after allegedly breaching his licence conditions.
John Higbey, 44, was previously sentenced to eight years in prison after admitting wounding a man with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
He is now wanted on recall to prison over a suspected breach of his licence conditions, Gloucestershire Police said.

Officers have launched an appeal after pursuing a number of lines of enquiry to locate Higbey but being unable to find him, as reported by Need To Know.
Police have warned members of the public not to approach him if they spot him, but to call 999 if he is seen at the time.
Higbey, from Cheltenham, is described as 5ft 9ins tall with short brown hair.
His previous conviction dates back to an attack in Cheltenham in which he was described as wearing a balaclava and armed with a wrench.
The victim, who was attacked at his home, suffered serious injuries during the brutal assault.
Higbey admitted the charge and was jailed for eight years.
Police have now urged anyone who knows where he is to contact them.
The force said: “Officers have pursued a number of lines of enquiry to find Higbey, but have been unable to locate him.”
