A man left police officers unimpressed after stopping traffic to chase down Kerry Katona “for a selfie”.
The singer can be seen driving in her green Lamborghini down a road in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, when the fan spotted her.
Footage, viewed 27,000 times on Instagram, shows Katona slowing down with her window open in order to take a selfie with the man, temporarily halting traffic on the busy road, before a police officer hurries over.
The officer can be seen following him and asking “what he is playing at” – to which he responds: “I’ve got to get a video for the missus.”
“By walking into the middle of the road?” The officer asks, looking unimpressed.
The clip was filmed by Scott Pattyson, 19, who told Need To Know: “I was hosting a car meet at the time hence the village being a lot busier than usual.
“The police clearly weren’t happy with it and they had a conversation with him.”
While no formal action was taken at the time, the moment has sparked debate online with some questioning the need for police intervention.
One viewer commented: “The police in this country need to get their priorities straight.”

Another user wrote: “Pedestrians have right of way on roads. He should not be told off for that.”
“OMG!!! I just realised that was Kerry Katona!!!” said another fan.
The incident took place on Sunday 24 August.
