An influencer was gunned down by gangsters just hours after mourning the death of a rival gang member, it is alleged.
Armed men broke into Caíque de Brito Gonzaga’s home and shot the social media star in the early hours yesterday (4 Sept).
The suspects fled, while Gonzaga, 26, was assisted by a cousin and taken to hospital – but she did not survive her injuries.

Just hours earlier, on Wednesday (3 Sept), she had posted an Instagram Story mourning the death of a young man identified by local media only as Neto.
A clip showing the pair together was captioned “I love you forever,” as reported by Need To Know.
Neto, killed during a clash with police on Tuesday (2 Sepr), was reported to be a member of the Bonde do Maluco gang.
Police are investigating the case, and CCTV footage from the area in Salvador, Brazil, is being reviewed to help identify the suspects.
The leading theory, according to local media, is that Gonzaga was killed by members of the rival Comando Vermelho gang in retaliation for her tribute to Neto.

Gonzaga – a transgender woman – was known as Kakay Britto to her 66,000-plus Instagram followers, with whom she shared travel content, dance routines, and humorous videos.
Lisia commented: “What a cowardly act. Now someone can’t even grieve for a friend? Or feel the pain for someone they were once involved with?
“It’s so unfair. If it happened because of a photo or video, it’s even more unjust.”
