A car burst into flames on a busy road as shocked onlookers ran to safety.
Witness Lisa Wedge could not believe her eyes when she came across the inferno on her way home.
The 27-year-old spotted the towering flames from a distance while in the car with her boyfriend, Adam.

The pair pulled over as other drivers edged nervously past the blazing motor.
Lisa, a business development worker, said an older couple and a young woman were left shaken at the roadside.
The woman, in her 20s, had “clearly been crying” after escaping the horror.
The couple were travelling back to Rochester from Canterbury after visiting Lisa’s parents when they came across the drama on the A2 towards London on Saturday (27 Sept).
“We were worried that the car would explode next to us if we were to pass it, as it eventually exploded,” Lisa, of Rochester, Kent, told Need To Know.
“When we encountered the car on fire, no emergency vehicle had arrived yet, and there was no traffic behind us.
“There was another car in front of us that hung around for a few seconds, but ultimately, left the scene.
“We stopped in the middle of the slip road going onto the A2.
“Then, the police car came soon after, blocking the dual carriageway, causing traffic to pile up behind us.
“The car was already roaring with fire when we arrived, but all occupants of the car seemed to get out safely.
“The young woman seemed to have been crying.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Officers attended a car alight on the London-bound carriageway of the A2 near Canterbury, at 9.36pm on Saturday, 27 September.
“Highway officers and Kent Fire and Rescue Service were also deployed to the incident, where the blaze was extinguished.
“The carriageway was closed while emergency services were at the scene, with one lane being reopened at around 10pm.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service has been approached for comment.
