A decade-long mystery has finally been solved after the remains of a young dad were found in a pond.
Steven MacKrell was just 25 when he vanished 10 years ago.
His skeletal remains were discovered on Thursday (2 October) by a private company specialising in underwater searches for missing people, as reported by Need To Know.

The team located Steven’s white Ford Fusion along with his remains in a pond.
On the night he went missing – 30 July 2015 – Steven had been out with his brother and friends at Lucky’s Tavern in downtown Fort Lauderdale, Florida, US, before leaving around 1:30am.
CCTV later captured him buying snacks at a petrol station at about 2:30am.

Around 20 minutes later, he was caught on camera outside getting into an altercation with an unidentified man.
He then drove away, and that was the last time he was seen on film.
His parents grew concerned when they didn’t hear from him the next day, and he also failed to show up for work.
His mother, Astrid, reported him missing to the Fort Lauderdale Police Department.
The pond where his body was found is in Boca Raton, roughly 20 miles from downtown Fort Lauderdale.
Steven shared a daughter, Skylar, with his girlfriend Alisha Carr.
The circumstances of how Steven and his car ended up in the lake are still under investigation.
