A dopey driver smashed up his car after somehow getting lost inside a subway system and panicking as he tried to escape.
The confused motorist wrecked his £25,000 black Mazda 3 after getting it wedged in a narrow underpass.
Bystanders filmed the bizarre blunder as the driver scraped along the tunnel walls while trying to reverse.

He then smashed the rear end of his car as he drove off.
The chaos unfolded at around 5pm last Thursday (9 Oct) in Stourbridge, West Mids, as reported by Need To Know.
In the clip, a man can be heard asking: “What are you doing pal?”
The motorist, wearing a blue T-shirt, replies: “I’m trying to get out.”
The onlooker then tells him: “You’re trying to get out.
“Well you’ve come down a subway and you’ve come down a one way system as well.”
Ignoring the advice, the driver motored off down another tunnel, as the cameraman mutters: “It’s smashed up everywhere.
“What an idiot.”
The clip ends with the damaged car finally emerging onto a main road.
A witness to the chaos said: “After leaving work I noticed a car driving the wrong way down lower high street then turn off into the subway.
“He was completely confused.
“He tried to manoeuvre away from the subway but hit the walls and caused a lot of damage to his car before he drove off the right way eventually up the high street.”
Locals were left gobsmacked.
One said: “No chance he’s passed his test.”

Another added: “Needs some driving lessons.”
While a third quipped: “Should’ve gone to Specsavers.”

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “We are aware of the footage and are carrying out enquiries.”
