A cheeky goalkeeper has stripped off to celebrate his club’s first-ever league title – leaving fans both shocked and delighted.
Diego Sánchez marked Coquimbo Unido’s historic win with two bold moves that sent social media into meltdown.
Before the match, the 38-year-old keeper proudly revealed a tattoo on his head that read: “It’s today.”

And after the final whistle, he went one step further, posting a naked balcony snap with the caption: “Good morning Coquimbo. I’m a champion!”
The daring picture came after Coquimbo Unido lifted their first Chilean Primera División title in their 67-year history, as reported by Need To Know.
The side, nicknamed The Pirates, sealed the crown with four games to spare after beating Unión La Calera 2–0 at the Francisco Sánchez Rumoroso Stadium on Sunday (Nov 2).

Jubilant fans flooded the streets waving flags, singing, and honking horns as the champions paraded the trophy through Coquimbo’s packed English Quarter in an open-top bus alongside mayor Ali Manouchehri.
Sánchez, who played 25 of 26 matches this season and conceded just 12 goals, shared an emotional tribute to his family and teammates after the win.
He said, “After so many struggles and dreams, we lifted the cup for the first time.
“There were moments of pain and doubt, but my family and this city gave me the strength to never give up.”
He went on to thank his three children – Dominga, Salvador, and Luciano – and his parents for their unwavering support.
It’s not the first time the veteran stopper’s lifted silverware.
He also won the league and Supercopa de Chile with Unión Española in 2013.
Football clearly runs in the family, too.
Sánchez’s dad, Gustavo Sánchez, was a former Palestino keeper who represented Chile in the 1985 Indonesian Independence Cup.
