A crocodile chomped down a baby shark for lunch, leaving tourists stunned.
The group was on a two-day, one-night tour of a coastal national park when the spectacle unfolded.
During the trip, they came across a crocodile with a shark between its fangs.
The reptile rested on the riverbank with its prey, apparently an infant, in its mouth before chomping it down whole.

The unlikely encounter was filmed on the bank of the Sirena River in the Corcovado National Park, located in south-western Costa Rica.

Luis Enrique, guide with Surcos Tours, filmed the hungry croc devouring the shark, as reported by Need To Know.
A company spokesperson said: “We wanted to share something truly amazing that happened recently on one of our tours in Corcovado.
“Our guide, Luis Enrique, who was leading a two-day, one-night tour, had the opportunity to observe, along with his group, a rare natural phenomenon: a crocodile interacting with a shark on the banks of the Sirena River.
“It was an extraordinary moment of pure nature, something very few people get to witness.
“Corcovado never ceases to amaze.”
The clip went viral on Facebook with 1.7m views and hundreds of comments.
One local said: “That’s not interaction. Interaction is sharing together!”

Another added: “Crocs know more than we do, land animals are dragged to the bottom to drown while aquatic animals are taken outside to die, there’s a lot of intelligence there.”
“He ate very well,” said Isabel.
Hector remarked: “Looks like a bull shark,”
“The strength of his jaws is incredible,” said Beatriz.

Gloria added: “He swallowed it whole and washed it down with water, hahaha.”
