An influencer named ‘Hateful Woman’ has been jailed for four years for her links to a criminal gang.
Ángela Freites Guedes was arrested in her home where cops found a pistol, ammunition, and a mini Uzi machine gun.
The Venezuelan influencer danced lambada, salsa and reggaeton in videos she uploaded to TikTok.

But she apparently led a double life with her partner Jorge ‘Gringo’ Rivera Martínez.
They were both jailed for being members of the Los Gallegos criminal gang, a faction of the notorious Tren de Aragua organisation, operating in the Peruvian capital Lima.
In one of her last videos, the influencer, known as ‘La Odiosa’ (‘The Hateful Woman’), said: “As long as no one shouts their mouth off, I still belong to organised crime.”

The couple worked together to scam victims.
Using her job as a nightclub hostess, Ángela identified their victims and lured them to a location where Jorge would kidnap them, according to the authorities.
Ángela, 22, and Jorge, 29, would then demand cash from them.
Police spokesperson Colonel Victor Revoredo said: “She is someone who goes around, who gets involved, who offers to work in various establishments such as nightclubs and markets, attracting clients who in some cases end up being kidnapped.”
The investigation has led to the identification of other suspected gang members, including a man nicknamed ‘El Guerrero de Dios’ (‘God’s Warrior’), who allegedly owned the mini Uzi.
The police are analysing the weapon to confirm whether it was used in an attack against a bus company on 16 November, as reported by Need To Know.

After their arrest in mid-November, the authorities said the couple had been swiftly sentenced to four years in prison for extortion.
Colonel Revoredo stated: “Thanks to the proactive work of the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Judiciary, a sentence has already been obtained for these two irredeemable individuals.”
Their prison term could be upgraded if they’re also found guilty of human trafficking.
The investigation into the gang’s activities is ongoing.
