A woman has revealed how people often mistake her husband for her dad as there’s 23 years between them – but says their sex life is the ‘best’.
Gianna D’Alessio, 23, recalls ‘instantly falling in love’ with Greg, aged 46.
The pair met through work, and within just one month of knowing each other, they made things official and moved in together.
And they didn’t waste any time expanding their brood – especially given their sex life is the “best” – welcoming Melody, two, just after a year-and-a-half of dating.
Now, they’re expecting their second child together, revealing the gender on TikTok, with the post racking up 41.6m views and 3.1m likes.
Not only did they go viral, but they also faced backlash over their age gap relationship.
“The only obstacle we’ve had in our relationship is jealous people trying to ruin us,” the content creator told Need To Know.
“It’s mostly online comments because of keyboard warriors, saying: ‘You’re only with him for the money,’
“I don’t let them bother me, though.
“The fact that our relationship bothers strangers says more about them than it does us.
“If anything, their words make me laugh.
“I’ve luckily not had any comments from friends or family.
“One time, at the doctor’s office, the receptionist asked: ‘And is this dad?’ and we both laughed – and [corrected her that] he’s my husband.
“She was surprised I was married at such a young age and said I looked like a baby.”
In another clip, racking up over 66,000 views and hundreds of likes, Gianna, from Rhode Island, US, reveals the years between them – but back to front.
Users have flocked to the comments to share their reactions, with many other people mistaking Greg for her dad across multiple videos.
“He looks old enough to be your dad,” commented one person.
Someone else said: “I thought that was your dad.”
“Next can u reveal the reason ur with this man,” another user said.
Kane added: “And she’s dating a senior citizen, this is sad. “
“At least your dad was just as excited standing next to you,” commented someone else.
Gianna hadn’t dated anybody older – or younger – before meeting Greg in June 2022.
Within six months, they tied the knot.
She said: “He was in love the minute we met.
“I was, too, but I thought of him as a friend at first because I wasn’t looking for anything.
“It all blossomed pretty fast.
“His age has never bothered me.
“And he has two other kids, who are so happy to have another mum.
“I’m grateful that I’ve found someone who treats me good.
“He’s made me realise what true love is.”
Gianna and Greg hope to continue expanding their family, as well as their farm, and also hope to share their relationship to show that “love has no age limit”.
She added: “Don’t let the opinions of other people stop you from having what you want.
“It’s your life, not theirs.
“People who matter will be happy for you.
“Greg is my best friend, and I couldn’t picture life without him.”
Gianna and Greg previously went viral for their aforementioned gender reveal video.
The parents-to-be were eager to find out if they were having a boy or girl – but when their confetti cannons displayed pink and blue, they were left very confused.
Until Gianna’s mum stole the show, with a T-shirt that read: ‘Keeper of the gender’ and popped a balloon to reveal they were having another girl.
