A skydiver smashed straight into a traffic light after parachuting into a busy junction.
The unlucky flyer drifted off course and floated directly towards the light before crashing into it.
His chute tore and wrapped itself around the metal pole.
In a clip of the incident, the man can be seen gliding helplessly towards the crossing before slamming into the traffic light and getting tangled.
He dangles there as the parachute clips tight around the structure.
Shocked passers by rush over, helping him to his feet and desperately trying to yank the chute free.
Several people tug at the fabric until it finally comes loose and flutters to the ground.
The man then walks off with his helpers as the traffic light wobbles and a police car arrives.
The bizarre scene unfolded yesterday in Mexico City, Mexico, as reported by Need To Know.
