A shoplifter was caught with £80 worth of ham and other food stuffed down his top in a branch of Co-op.
The man was collared by staff who made him empty it all out.

He then removed three more packs of meat from his zip-up top.
But the crook wasn’t finished there, also pulling out five packs of Anchor butter worth £2.95 each.
There was also more food – including chicken breasts and steaks – on the trolly he placed them on.
It happened at the Co-op supermarket on Horn Lane, Acton, west London on Tuesday (9 Dec) at 1pm.

In a 28-second video filmed by an onlooker the man said: “Apologies. that’s all I can say, alright?.”
After removing the meat he added: “There is butter.
“You want to search my bag?
“Go on then have a look.”
He was spotted acting suspiciously by staff on CCTV, as reported on Need To Know.
Workers confronted him as his bulging top got bigger and bigger.
Locals reacted with shock at the sheer amount of food in his top.
Elizabeth Hughes said: “Got greedy.”
Another – called Grace – said: “Broken country.”

One added: “This is why prices are so high.”
Another joked: “Should stop his benefits.”
The Met Police and Co-op have been approached for comment.
