Two men have been arrested after three people were injured in a machete melee in a scenic city centre.
Armed cops raced to Truro, Cornwall, at around 1:45pm on Monday (24 August) following reports that a bladed weapon had been used during a fight.
One man suffered a potentially serious injury, while two others sustained minor injuries, Devon and Cornwall Police said.

Shocking footage appeared to show a man wielding a long-bladed weapon and attacking another man.
A stunned witness could be heard saying: “Oh my god, bro’s hit him with a machete.”
Two men in their 20s were later arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, as reported by Need To Know.
Police said those involved were believed to know each other and reassured residents there was no wider danger.
A force spokesperson said: “Those involved are believed to be known to each other, and there is no wider threat to the public.”
At the time of writing, both arrested men remained in police custody.
