An influencer got into a fight with a ‘Karen’ in a first class cabin after a seat row.
Justin Escalona’s 6am journey got off to a rocky start after he clashed with a woman on the plane who took his seat.
The creator had been handed a free upgrade into first class when he was allegedly approached by cabin crew to swap seats with another passenger.

Not questioning anything the influencer happily obliged before being informed by a second steward that the chair would not recline.
After learning this Escalona attempted to go back to his original seat – where the ‘Karen’ had already settled down and refused to budge.
The pair then got into a heated dispute about the seat where she claimed he had been ‘moved’.
The bizarre interaction kicked off on a 6am flight on 22 Jul, as reported by Need To Know.
The influencer had boarded an American Airlines flight from JFK airport to LAX, where he had booked a normal cabin seat.
However, due to his high loyalty status with the airline he was offered a free upgrade, something he claims happens quite often.
This then led to the dispute in the first class cabin, where the influencer stated that the cabin crew had taken sides with the ‘Karen’.
The creator captured footage of the events on the flight and ranted online to his 200,000 plus followers about the experience.
Justin Escalona said: “I fly very very often strictly on American Airlines so I have high loyalty status. I genuinely love AA. Flight from JFK to LAX at 6am.
“I always book a normal cabin seat because there’s usually a 90% chance I get free upgrades.
“It’s the best.
“Fortunately for me on this flight, free upgrade. Seat 6A.
“I guess the woman in 3F’s chair wouldn’t recline so she complained to the flight attendants that because she paid and I was there because of an upgrade, she is entitled to me being required to trade with her.
“I understand the logic, but that doesn’t mean I agree with it.
“When I get on early AM flights, I don’t sleep prior so I can knock out the second I sit down and wake up at the destination.
“Feels like in real life teleporting.
“When I was woken up after boarding/buckling up, I was in a daze.
“I thought the lady wanted to trade seats because she wanted a view of the city out the window or it’s sentimental, I don’t know.
“I was down to do it for reasons like that, but when I was told it’s because she didn’t like her chair, no thank you.
“She didn’t even say please or thank you.
“Just bolted over to my chair and wouldn’t get up.
“Even if she was polite about it, maybe I would’ve said whatever, just take it I’m feeling nice.
“Sadly not the case.
“She started telling everyone that she paid and I didn’t, so I have to move.
“Also shout out to the random passenger in 1st.
“Not shown in this vid that came up to me saying ‘Are you really not going to trade with her? You’re a d*ck’.
“Yet… he didn’t offer to trade her either.
“Long explanation but felt like it was necessary.”
