A nine-year-old boy whose mum walked 500 miles to raise money for his cancer treatment has tragically died.
Martin Vallejos family have confirmed that he passed away following a battle with neuroblastoma.
It is an aggressive form of childhood cancer.

They wrote: “With deep sorrow, we announce the sad passing of our little Martín.
“God has called him to rest in His arms.
“We will always love you, our sweet little Martín.”

Martin’s treatment required medication that could only be administered abroad, as reported by NeedtoKnow.
It prompted his mother, Aileen, to embark on a 500 mile fundraising walk.
She managed to raise almost £900,000.
Martín, from Valdivia, south of Santiago, Chile, passed away last Thursday (Dec 4) and his funeral was held on Saturday (6 Dec).
The family thanked the public for their support.
