A mum is “skint” after spending £15,000 on presents and says it’s going to be a “bleak” January.
Jodie Weston claims her savings have “dwindled” away.
The 32-year-old, from London, spent the obscene amount of money on a weekly advent calendar for her toddler, Koa-Zayde, two.

While the grand gesture seemed doable at first, she’s now having regrets – with her income having reportedly dropped by £1,000 per month due to her spending habits and tech developments affecting her career.
“It’s going to be quite bleak for us,” she told Need To Know.
“In the last two months, things [work] have been seriously drying up.
“It’s a scary time for me.

“AI has caused such a huge and sudden change.
“I have to think quickly about other avenues of income, as I’m on the verge of losing my job overnight.
“I think I’ll have to change my ways – and fast.
“Luckily, I have some savings but they’ll quickly disappear overnight at this rate.
“I’m worried, as work at the start of the year is always quite quiet.
“So I need to be very careful with my spending.”
Jodie spent £2,000 on a trip to Centre Parcs, £450 on a dino soft play pass for her toddler, before heading off to Legoland and Lapland.

She also got matching Cartier bracelet and designer pyjamas.
For now, though, she’s keeping up with her usual lifestyle and will be jetting off to Abu Dhabi to kick off the New Year in style.
She added: “I like to start off the year on a good note.
“I don’t want to let Koa-Zayde be affected by this, so I’ll do all I can to make sure that isn’t the case.”
Jodie was recently slammed by fellow mums, calling her a “rich snob”.
The influencer, who has appeared on Channel 5’s Rich Kids Go Skint, Rich Holiday Poor Holiday and BBC’s Eating with My Ex, says that most women are likely just jealous of her success.
