A crook has been caught on CCTV snatching a bottle of vinegar from a chippy.
The sour-taste-loving thief left the owners shocked after they saw the footage – and anyone worth their salt was left scandalised.
A security camera in the corner of the shop captured him grabbing the condiment from the counter while staff had their backs turned.
Considering there is what looks like a tip jar right next to the bottle, the thief was clearly more concerned about his palette than his profit.

The ridiculous heist took place at J-Henry’s Fish and Chips Hedge End, Southampton, as reported by Need To Know.
The family running the business were left bemused when they noticed one of their bottles had disappeared.

Then the footage, captured on Tuesday (6 Jan) night, revealed all.
After pocketing the vinegar, the customer – wearing a black coat and green hoodie – patiently waited for his food.
And despite his skulduggery, the thief smiled at staff, before casually exiting.
It is said to be the most bizarre incident to take place at the chippy in its entire 37 years of operating.
The suspect is now being referred to as the “vinegar bottle bandit”.
A spokesperson for J-Henry’s Fish and Chips said: “You know, if you want extra vinegar, you are allowed to ask.
“When the vinegar is so good, you have to just take the whole bottle.”
Members of the public have been left in stitches by the footage.
Di Hardwood said: “Condiments to the chef.”

Jo Sherwood joked: “He’s not a classy sausage that’s for sure.”
Denise Fielder said: “Oh my goodness.”
Sally Wood Amaira added: “You might not see him again.”
And a local said: “Vinegar bottle bandit strikes again.”
