A family was inside their home when its roof was ripped off by Storm Goretti.
The horror moment was captured on video as the structure gave way.
Paul Ossitt, 49, and his wife were sheltering inside at the time.
It happened in Nanpean, near Newquay, Cornwall on yesterday (8 Jan) at around 8pm.
They were forced to flee and sleep elsewhere, according to Paul’s brother Tod.
“It was a bungalow built on the side of an old railway carriage,” he told Need To Know.
“But it looks like a bomb site now.
“The storm just ripped off the roof.”
