Washing up liquid costing just £1.10 has been put on anti-theft shelves in Tesco leaving shoppers fuming.
The Fairy products have been behind clear, sliding screens.
They are aimed at making it harder for shoplifters to swipe large amounts of products in one go.

The 320ml bottles of Fairy washing-up liquid cost just £1.10.
The larger 645ml ones are also in there and still only just £2.20.
Other cheap items behind the contraptions are £3 Febreze air fresheners.
Other products have been put in wire netting with security tags on them.
These include £3.95 Colgate toothpaste and dried salt fish costing just £4.20.
Coconut milk hair conditioner – priced at £5.20 – is also tagged to thwart shoplifters.
One customer told Need To Know: “You have to slide them across to get access to the products.
“It’s a way of stopping shoplifters quickly bulking the items and stealing them.
“It slows them down.
“But for customers it’s a nightmare because they are hard to slide along to get access, especially for older people.”
It was spotted yesterday at Tesco, Central Square, Wembley, west London yesterday (12 Jan).

Angry shopper Mark Kelly fumed: “That’s not going to stop them.
“They will still walk out the door with a full bag and the staff will stand back and watch them.”
Tommy added: “They spending more money on securing the product, and on the actual product.”

Sharon said: “I would hate having to get my shopping that way.”
Angela added: “Bore off Tesco, robbing b*stards with your prices.”
One said: “What a joke.”
Another added: Seriously?”

Tesco has been approached for comment.
