Two crooks on mopeds chillingly tried to steal a brave man’s electric bike while he was riding it.
The victim – wearing a video camera on his helmet – was going down a residential street when the first scooter pulled up alongside him.
He then spotted the second moped following closely behind.

The cyclist pulled onto the pavement and the two thieves tried to block his path.
The video camera captured the whole ordeal.
Shocked onlookers including two mums pushing their kids in buggies watched on.
The pursuit began in Lower Clapton Road, Clapton, Hackney, north London.

He was able to slip away into a house-lined Mildenhall Road but the pair didn’t give up.
The electric bike rider kept on the pavement to keep his distance but they still followed him.
The victim bravely got off and confronted the duo and they eventually sped off.
It happened on Saturday (10 Jan) morning, as reported on Need To Know.
It follows a spate of mobile phone thefts where crooks use e-bikes or mopeds to get away.
Tom Chadwick exclaimed: “I have never even thought about bike to bike warfare before.

“What are you supposed to do?
“Carry to defend yourself against such circumstances?”
One local added: “I’m confused, they are now trying to steal bikes whilst it’s moving and not locked up.
“What is going on out there?”
Ben hailed the cyclist and said: “Fight back.”
Another said: “They’ve become so brazen.
“It’s scary.”

A fifth said: “Well done that man.”
