Emergency workers on the scene found the 25-year-old in a confused state and severe pain.
They took her to the Santa Casa hospital in Goiânia, south-west of Brasilia, Brazil.
But the young woman’s condition worsened to critical the following day and she was transferred to the Dr Valdemiro Cruz Emergency Hospital of Goiás.
She remained in intensive care for 48 days until succumbing to her injuries last Thursday (15 Jan), as reported by Need To Know.

Thais, who crashed on November 28 in Catalão, worked as an eyelash extension specialist and promoter of eye health.
She provided courses and mentoring on the subject for her online followers.
Her father said on social media: “Thais, one day we will meet again and it will be very different.
“Rest in peace, my daughter.”
Her cousin said: “I have pain burning in my chest knowing you won’t be here with me anymore.
“The last time I saw you, you hugged and kissed me and said such beautiful things.
“You were always here for whatever I needed.
“I love you so much, my precious one.
“It’s been so hard to accept that you’re gone.
“I will always carry you in my heart.”
