A fugitive criminal was chased down and arrested in a busy town centre by a police officer on a horse.
Bodycam footage showed the wanted man foolishly trying to leg it away from his mounted pursuer.
PC Loder and his horse PH Rufford were out on patrol when they spotted Ben Cottam, who was wanted on recall to prison.

When PC Loder asked the 41-year-old to stop, he tried in vain to outrun the officer and horse.
Video captured the dramatic chase, which ended with Cottam being seized.
It happened in Blackburn, Lancs, as reported by Need To Know.
A Lancs Police spokesperson said: “Ever wondered if we’ll pursue you on horseback?
“Well, the answer is yes.
“PC Loder and his horse PH Rufford were out on patrol on Northgate in Blackburn town centre when they spotted Ben Cottam who was wanted on recall to prison.
“PC Loder asked him to stop, but instead he thought he could easily outrun PH Rufford.
“Unfortunately for him, PH Rufford was far too hot to trot and instead cantered after him down the high street.
“Realising he didn’t stand a chance against horse and rider, Cottam came to a stop and we arrested him.
“He was later remanded to HMP Preston after a short stay in custody and PH Rufford was tucked up in his stable with a carrot or two for a job well done.
“That’s what we would call some ah-neigh-zing work.
“Well done PH Rufford and PC Loder.”
