In the movie Anthony Hopkins’s sinister Hannibal Lecter helps FBI detective Clarice Starling, played by Jodie Foster, track down serial killer Buffalo Bill, portrayed by Ted Levine.

The actual house used for the serial killer’s hideout – located in Perryopolis, Pennsylvania and, in the 1991 movie, partly furnished with human remains – is now available to book for £544 ($745 USD) a night.
The Valentine’s Day getaway is available from the 7 to 15 Feb, as reported by Need To Know.
Upon arrival guests will be treated to a complementary choice of Chianti – Lecter’s favoured accompaniment to human liver and fava beans – Champagne, or sparkling cider.

A “Silence-themed Valentine’s cake”, which features pictures of Buffalo Bill and Hannibal Lecter, can also be added to the booking.
Chocolate roses are available on arrival, too, while the master bedroom will feature a rose petal heart placed on the moth bedding.
Guests receive a Buffalo Bill’s House tote bag, filled with goodies, as well.
A spokesperson for Buffalo Bill’s House said: “Celebrate the 35th anniversary of The Silence of the Lambs with a romantic stay at Buffalo Bill’s House.

“Sleep inside the real filming location from the five-time Academy Award-winning film.”
Horror fans have gone wild over the announcement.
One person said: “Can you please include Bill? Valentine’s Day just wouldn’t be the same sexy weekend without him.”

Another person added: “This is demented and I love it.”
A third person declared: “What a great idea.”
One other person added: “OK, I want to see the basement.”
And a fifth fan of the movie said: “Nobody wants to sleep in a bedroom. We want the hole.”
