A beauty queen was zapped by a power cable while dancing on a carnival float.
Ninel Conde was filmed reeling back in shock after the low-hanging cable apparently struck her head.
The 49-year-old actress was wearing a skimpy silver and purple outfit with large headpiece as she danced on top of the float.

She apparently didn’t notice the drooping cable as it caught her on the forehead.
The clip went viral on Ninel’s Instagram page with 226,000 views and hundreds of comments, as reported by Need To Know.
The beauty queen, who also had problems with her footwear that night, said afterwards: “Did you think we only had one mishap at the carnival with the shoes?
“No way! Now you’re really in for a shock!
“Wow! Was anyone else there?”
One fan said: “She’s electric, but very professional.”

“What a big scare!” added Ezequiel.
“Thank God you’re okay. Like a true professional, you carried on like all the greats, you’re unique and always so beautiful,” added Elizabeth.
Eduardo said: “I’m so glad nothing happened to you and that you’re OK, you looked stunning there.”

Ninel was allegedly zapped by the power line while performing at the Mérida Carnival in south-eastern Mexico last Wednesday (18 Feb).
Despite the scare, the actress – who appeared in Ugly Betty in 2006 and the reality show The House of the Famous last year – carried on bopping for the rest of the night.
