A sticky-fingered thief has been caught nabbing a laptop in seconds while distracting staff by trying to sell his old one.
The footage was captured at Holiday Money Exchange, Westgate Arcade Peterborough, as reported by Need To Know.
The business shares its store with Superig Computers, which sells and offers repairs on electronics.

The clip was taken on 20 Feb around 10.40am.
After snatching the new item, the suspect then attempted to flog his original laptop.
In the audio of the CCTV footage, a member of staff can be heard quoting ‘£600’ for the item.
The thief refused the price before asking where else he could sell the laptop.
He then casually exited the store stating: “Thank you for your help.”
Members of the public were left shocked by the footage.
One person said: “Scummy chav, arrest and lock up.”

Another person added: “That’s crazy.”
One other person said: “He must have monitored the environment in order to determine the time to do this.”
Another person said: “Disappointing from someone who is a five minute walk away from here.”

One person added: “Usual suspect.”
