A former NHS healthcare assistant who was declined car finance because her wages were so low now drives a Porsche Macan Sport after strangers encouraged her to start an OnlyFans.
Brooke Glover was earning just £1,200 a month working at Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, and had only £250 left over after paying her bills.
The 23-year-old had saved £2,000 to buy a second hand Citroen DS3 after being turned down for finance on a Vauxhall Corsa and believed she would never be able to afford anything better.

“I remember saying to my mum, ‘I’m never going to drive a nice car because I’ll always have bad pay jobs,’” she told Need To Know.
“I saved and saved until I had £2,000 for my Citroen DS3 and I just thought this is my life, healthcare and being miserable.”
But when men began messaging her on Instagram asking if she had an OnlyFans account, Brooke decided to look into it.
“I didn’t actually know what it was,” she said. “I Googled it and noticed some girls on my Instagram were doing it.”
She launched her page in December 2020 and by February 2021 had earned £28,000 in a single month simply by sharing the link in her bio.
Despite the sudden income, Brooke stayed at the hospital for another month before colleagues encouraged her to leave.
“I remember the staff saying to me, ‘Brooke, why are you still here? Get yourself out of here while you’re young,’” she said.
“That’s what I did. I grabbed my things and I left and I never went back.”
Before joining the NHS, Brooke had worked in a care home and spent 10 months as a healthcare assistant, a role she says she “really, really disliked”.
“I came out of school with not many GCSEs as I didn’t enjoy school much, so I didn’t have good enough grades to do university,” she said.
Her lifestyle has since transformed. She now goes to the gym regularly, eats at restaurants, stays at luxury log cabins and travels frequently.
“I drive a Porsche Macan Sport. I love my cars. I’m a sports car girly,” she said.
“If I still worked in healthcare, I wouldn’t be doing any of the things I enjoy because I wouldn’t be able to afford it.”
Brooke says her mum and grandmother have been her biggest supporters. Her grandmother has even attended photoshoots.
“She’ll take pictures on her phone of me having photos in lingerie and says she’s really proud,” Brooke said.
“I support my mum and nanna with a lot of things, and me starting OnlyFans has helped us all financially.”
One of her more unusual custom requests involved a subscriber who asked her to speak French while performing a striptease.
“I had to spend the day before learning quite a few lines of French so I could speak in French on the video,” she said.
Despite appearing confident online, Brooke says she is shy in real life.
“My subscribers think I’m really confident, but behind the screen I’m actually really, really shy,” she said.
Now she is focused on buying her first property, with plans to purchase a second in the future.
“When I was 18, I wasn’t thinking about buying a property,” she said. “Now I’m 23, I’m ready to buy my own property and settle down.
“I just want to be happy and be grateful.”
