A politician was headbutted in the street while delivering aid to a flood-hit region.
Congressman Federico Pelli reportedly suffered a broken nose and was taken to hospital for treatment.
He was transporting mattresses and supplies to families affected by the flash flood. But he was confronted by a burly man who refused to let him pass through the main road into town.

When Federico questioned who he was, the suspect allegedly headbutted him in the face, breaking his nose in the process.
Federico was taking part in a solidarity campaign near the town of La Madrid in Tucumán Province, northern Argentina, on Wednesday, 11 Mar.

He was allegedly assaulted at the entrance to the town while trying to deliver supplies to flood victims on behalf of his party La Libertad Avanza (LLA), led by Argentine President Javier Milei.
The suspect, named as Marcelo ‘Pichón’ Segura, is said to be a political operative linked to Tucumán Interior Minister Darío Monteros, a member of the left-wing Peronist party Partido Justicialista.
The minister criticised the alleged act of violence, as did regional governor Osvaldo Jaldo.
Argentine president Javier Milei shared a clip of the attack on his X page, as reported by Need To Know.
National deputy Soledad Molinuevo said: “I thought he had killed him!
“We came with a truck full of donations and when we were approaching to deliver the goods, this man wouldn’t let us through.
“Federico said to him, ‘Who are you?’ And the man told him he was the one who wasn’t going to let him through.
“Federico fell to the ground semi-conscious.
“I thought he had killed him, the headbutt was very strong.

“An ambulance team attended to him but seeing that he had something quite serious, they transferred him to hospital in Concepción.”
She added: “It was confirmed that he had a broken nose and he was transferred to a private clinic in San Miguel de Tucumán.”
Soledad also said the aggressor “laughed in my face” and tried to downplay what had happened.
The suspect has been placed under arrest as an investigation into the alleged assault continues.
