Britain’s barmy weather baffled residents of a beauty spot which was hit by snow just two days after experiencing Mediterranean temperatures.
The chilly blast swept in on Wednesday bringing a frosty white dusting.
A video showed the snow storm hitting Princetown on Dartmoor, Devon.

It looked like it could have been shot in the depths of winter.
The area was enjoying sunny weather with temperatures around 16 degrees on Sunday with Britain being hotter than Athens, Greece.
Derek Robbins from the Fox Tor Cafe in Princetown said the weather had changed in seconds, as reported by Need To Know.
“It keeps you on your toes and to be honest, it’s not predictable all the time and it’s nice to know that it can be snowing one minute and then sunny the next,” he said.
“From one extreme to the other.
“Who knows what we’re going to get later.”
