Seconds later, the passenger train ploughs into the side of it – sending the young boy flying “like a rag doll”.
He is hurled into the air before landing beside the railway line as the train screeches to a halt.
The tragedy happened on Sunday (12 April) in Ô Loan, Đắk Lắk, Vietnam, as reported by Need To Know.

The vehicle was being driven by a 59-year-old man, identified as T.V.M., who had his two grandchildren on board – a 12-year-old girl and the 10-year-old boy.
The driver and the girl were seriously injured and rushed to hospital by locals.
He suffered abrasions and a fractured heel, while the girl sustained a broken forearm.
The boy sadly died at the scene.
Reports say the train driver applied emergency brakes but was unable to stop in time.
The impact left the vehicle mangled and also caused damage to the train.
The service was delayed by around 30 minutes before continuing.
Authorities later revealed the crossing had been created unofficially by locals – meaning it had no proper barriers or warning systems.
An investigation is ongoing, with officials warning of the dangers of using unauthorised crossings.
