A Delta pilot and father-of-four has been remembered as a “devoted husband and loving father” after being killed in a tragic plane crash.
Justin Westbrooks died when the vintage aircraft he was flying went down, with another passenger also losing their life.
The experienced pilot, who built a long career in aviation, has been honoured by loved ones following his sudden death.

“His sudden loss has left a deep void in the lives of his family and all who knew him,” a GoFundMe set up in his memory states.
Westbrooks leaves behind his wife, Amanda, and their four young children – Kensie, Barrett, Logan and Peyton.
The fundraiser says Amanda is now facing the challenge of raising the children alone, while continuing to care for and support them as they grieve.

Westbrooks graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2009 with a degree in Aeronautical Science before beginning his career as a pilot.
He later joined Delta Air Lines, where he went on to become a captain and Line Check Airman, flying Boeing 757 and 767 aircraft.
“Justin loved being a pilot for Delta and sharing his love of aviation with others,” the page states.
“Above all, he cherished his faith, his family, and his community.”
The crash happened on Monday (13 April) near Williston Regional Airport in Florida.
Officials confirmed both Westbrooks and another passenger died. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
