An angry shoplifter was spotted in TKMaxx smashing the security scanners and tussling with a guard.
The infuriated man let his temper flare after staff attempted to stop him from leaving for allegedly snatching items.
Upon his exit, he decided to smash up the security scanners as shoppers watched on in horror.

The shocking scenes took place in TKMaxx in Monument Mall, on Northumberland Street, Newcastle upon Tyne, as reported by Need To Know.
A shopper captured the footage on Wednesday (22 Apr).
The man attempts to flee the store, entering the shopping centre floor, with the security guard continuously blocking him.
At one point, other members of staff join to help contain the suspect.
The clip has racked up over 14,100 views online.
Members of the public were left shocked by the footage.
One person said: “He even destroyed the beepy thing.”
One other person said: “Haway mate let me gee out of here.” [sic]
One other person added: “The only way to stop it is to give security officers more powers or employ the police to patrol the streets and shopping centres.”
TMaxx has been approached for comment.
