A bodybuilding influencer has been found burned to death on a remote roadside.
Freddy Rodríguez, better known to his followers as Rosado, had vanished several days before his charred corpse was found last Sunday (26 Apr).
Due to the body’s condition, the identity wasn’t confirmed by the authorities until Friday (1 May).
The body of the 34-year-old fitness influencer was found in a secluded area along the road connecting El Tablón and Las Ánimas in southern Honduras.

Forensic teams confirmed that the body was found in an advanced state of decomposition and had been severely carbonised.
The Public Ministry said Rodríguez was likely murdered at a different location before being transported to the solitary site to be burned.
Officers noted that the surrounding vegetation also showed signs of fire damage.
The identification process proved difficult for forensic pathologists as the victim’s facial features were rendered unrecognisable by the intense heat, as reported by Need To Know.
The Public Ministry finally confirmed the identity of the deceased following secondary verification and emotional confirmation by grieving family members.
Rodríguez, who built a significant following on TikTok over six years, frequently shared bodybuilding content, motivational fitness clips and self-improvement messages.
His posts reflected an upbeat philosophy, with lines such as “your body can withstand anything, it’s your mind that you must convince”, “never give up”, and “a good physique awakens envy”.
Followers flooded his social media profiles with tributes, describing him as a charismatic individual with a “great heart” who inspired many in the El Paraíso community.
Police units are currently conducting further surveys of the highway area to collect physical evidence that may lead to the identification of those responsible.
No arrests have been made yet as the investigation continues.
