A reality star has been found dead in her car two weeks after disappearing.
Seila Álvarez, who performed under the stage name Seila Esencia, disappeared on 20 April.
A public alert was issued on 4 May with her description: 1.61 metres tall, slim build, brown hair and brown eyes.

The singer-songwriter’s body was found in her car near a hiking trail in her home city of Vigo, Spain, yesterday (5 May).
She was just 39 years old.
Seila, a finalist on a prime-time talent reality show, was found with no apparent signs of violence or third-party involvement, and the position of her body suggested there had been no attempt to conceal it.
An autopsy was carried out the same morning to establish the exact cause of death, with results still pending.
Seila was a well-known figure on Spain’s music scene and was lead vocalist of the funk band Phantom Club, as reported by Need To Know.
In 2015 she reached the final of the TVE talent show ‘Hit – La Canción’, where aspiring composers pitched original songs to established artists including Melendi, Vanesa Martín and David Bustamante.
Her composition ‘Duermes Mientras Yo Escribo’ was chosen and performed by Spanish star Marta Sánchez, who recorded it for her album 21 Días and praised the young songwriter’s talent on the show.
Marta paid tribute to Seila on Instagram hours after the news broke, writing: “There are pieces of news that break you in two, Seila was very special.
“I was lucky to spend some days preparing this incredible song for television.
“Rarely have I heard composers so genuine, unique, and with so much talent.”
She added: “For me, she will always form part of my musical history and I will never forget her.
“I send my heartfelt condolences to her entire family with a broken heart. RIP.”
The search had gained momentum on social media in recent days, with posters featuring Seila’s image circulated widely.
The investigation is ongoing.
