A social media star has been shot dead in the street – three years after her partner met the same grisly fate.
Francisca Roberta “Robertinha” de Jesus Silva was sitting in the doorway of a neighbour’s house on Thursday (14 May) evening when two individuals arrived on a motorbike.
According to witnesses, she tried to run, but the suspects opened fire, discharging several shots.

Robertinha, 21, was struck in the head, leg and back, and died at the scene in Coelho Neto, Brazil.
The attackers fled immediately after the shooting, as reported by Need To Know.
Police later located one of the suspects, and a shootout ensued.
He was shot and died at the scene.
He was reportedly under investigation for involvement in other homicides in the region.
A second suspect, aged 17 and identified as the driver of the motorbike, remains at large.
Robertinha was the partner of Fernando Rocha Alves, known as Fernando Cigano, or “Fernando the Gypsy”.
He was fatally shot multiple times in February 2023 after he and Robertinha were ambushed by armed men.
Robertinha was also shot twice in the right leg during that attack but survived.
Some time later, she moved to Nova Mutum, in a different part of Brazil.
She had returned to Coelho Neto on Wednesday (13 May), accompanied by her sister and a friend.
At the time of writing, she had 12,900 followers on one of her social media accounts, where she shared comedy videos, daily life content, and light-hearted posts with her mother.
She also maintained a second, less-followed account featuring fitness-related content.
Police are now trying to determine whether the two murders are connected, whether Robertinha’s killing was a revenge-style “settling of scores” linked to Alves’s death, and whether the case is tied to gang activity or other previous crimes in Coelho Neto.
