A suspected shoplifter was filmed appearing to brawl with supermarket staff in a Tesco car park after a basket full of goods was spilled during a confrontation.
The chaotic incident unfolded in Leeds, West Yorkshire, and was captured on video by a shocked witness.
Footage appears to show staff members and a member of the public attempting to stop a man in a black hoodie from leaving with the items.

A struggle then breaks out as goods are scattered across the ground.
The clip shows the man lashing out during the confrontation as staff and bystanders try to recover the shopping.
At one point, he seems to punch a staff member dressed in blue before turning his attention to another man who had intervened.
The second man is struck during the altercation and appears to stumble backwards following the blow, as reported by Need To Know.
One witness said: “I know it’s expensive in Tesco these days – no need to kick off like that after you robbed a full basket of items.
“Fully grown men robbing supermarkets then attacking innocent guys just helping the staff get the items back.
“The man he hit wasnt even a Tesco worker.”
The circumstances surrounding the incident, which took place on Friday (19 June), have not been confirmed.
