An influencer has been slammed for posing with a dead buffalo before apparently eating it with pals.
Lia Mendonça, who boasts over 3.7 million Instagram fans, filmed herself dining on the slaughtered beast after roasting it whole.
The 20-year-old was accompanied by her rumoured boyfriend, pop star MC Daniel, and several influencer friends.

The influencers bought a pre-killed buffalo and filmed themselves dragging it through the water before roasting it whole.
Lia filmed the gruesome scenes during a trip to Marajó Island in northern Brazil.

Furious viewers accused her of disrespecting local traditions and turning North Brazil into a “joke”.
One local fumed: “We’re from Pará and we don’t eat like this, this is shocking.”
Another said: “First, she was filmed stamping on it in the water, then turned it into a spectacle to eat.”
A third added: “She should be protecting the image of the North, we’re becoming a laughing stock.”
Lia, who comes from Belém in the state of Pará, quickly deleted the video and issued a grovelling apology on her Instagram Stories.
She said: “I have enough humility to ask forgiveness from the people of Marajó who felt offended.”
She added that the buffalo meat came from a legal, authorised establishment and that whole-roasting is a known practice in the region.
However, she accepted the presentation was insensitive to Marajó locals.
The original video remains deleted.
The influencer shot to fame sharing Amazonian food, customs and daily life.
She gained extra fame after joining the digital reality show Rancho do Maia, as reported by Need To Know.
She is also rumoured to be dating MC Daniel, with the pair frequently appearing together in flirty clips.
Lia has tried to rebuild her image by posting normal content about northern Brazilian culture, but the backlash shows little sign of dying down on social media.
